A Pause for Literature

I’m reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens at the moment. I can’t help but feel that Mr Pip would do better, and the whole book a lot shorter, if someone tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Plenty more fish in the sea lad!”.

Worse things happen at Sea – Frank Turner. It’s a tenuous link, but I love this song, it holds a lot of meaning for me, and reminds me of worse times.

  1. like the way you play .. great

  2. Wow, this post has been way more popular than any previous updates. Maybe I should give up the music thing and concentrate on slagging off 19th century novelists?
